According to legend, Nai Khanom Tom defeated 10 Burmese fighters to win his freedom from Burmese king Mangra around the year 1774, as well as proving Muay Thai as the superior martial art. Every year on this day we honor the teachers and those who've come before us, contributing to this art form we all love and live.
